Special Needs Coordinator - Permanent contract (2 days per week)

Salary plus TLR2a

Start September 2018

 

Due to retirement, we are looking to appoint a highly driven and motivated SENCo to our friendly village school.  We are looking for a special practitioner who will help shape the future for our children by ensuring that all the needs of our pupils are met.  Are you motivated by the desire to transform children’s life chances no matter their starting point? If so, then this could be the position for you!

Applicants will need to have the National Qualification for SENCo, or willingness to train for the qualification.

 

This post is ideal for a SENCo who wishes to contribute to a school on an innovative and exciting journey and who believes all pupils deserve the best opportunities that we can offer.  The successful applicant will also play a key role in our Child Protection Team; helping to ensure that are pupils are kept safe.

Breakfast Club Leader

 Monday – Friday 7:30 – 9:00 (7 hours 30 minutes per week)

Grade 16 point 8

 

Post to commence as soon as possible.

Are you energetic, caring and fun loving? Committed to keeping children safe? Would you enjoy inspiring and motivating the young pupils of our small primary school?

 

We are looking for someone to join our Breakfast Club team, encouraging independence, responsibility, kindness and good manners in our children. We are looking for a caring, well organised and highly motivated individual to make a difference to our children.

 

Experience and qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with children is desirable but not essential,
  • An education/childcare qualification is desirable but not essential,
  • Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential,
  • First aid qualification is desirable but not essential.

 

Candidates would be required to:

  • Work alongside the existing out of hours Staff,
  • Prepare facilities and activities to ensure agreed high quality standards are met,
  • Prepare simple breakfast foods,
  • Establish good relationships with staff, children and parents,
  • Assist in managing club registers and other day-to-day administration,
  • Manage health and safety of children,
