Happy Friday and Happy Birthday Jed! If you nip over to our Birthday Page you will see some lovely messages from some of your friends.
Remember everyone, we have our Zoom session at 11:00 today. We are playing some silly games and hopefully having some giggles.
Next week is half term week, but later on today I will upload some activities that you can do at home if you want something to keep you busy.
Have a lovely week.
Hello mighty Hobby Class!
I can't believe that it is nearly the end of another week already!
On Friday we are having our usual end of week get together - we are going to be doing 'never have I ever' and 'truth and lie' games. I will also be able to answer any questions that you have about school reopening by then.
Next week is half term, so you don't have to be doing any home learning. However, I will put up some resources just like last time that you can do if you would like to - I will make sure they are lots of fun, so email me if there is anything in particular that you would like.
Hopefully you have seen the exciting news in our home learning section about Hollie's win in the VE day competition. I am hoping to make it two out of two for Hobby by winning another competition. If you look up above you can see all the details of the National Book Token's competition to design a book token.
Everything you need is in the attached documents and if you win then the whole class wins a £10 book token!
There is also some more excitement over on the Mini-Meyer's page where Mrs Meyers has recorded a message with her and Taliah. She announces which of you were closest with your baby guesses.
Soooo much excitement going on!
Don't forget that we have infinity dungeon tomorrow at 2:00pm.
Before we get into today's lovely learning, there is time for me to tell you about tomorrow's mid-week Zoom get together. By popular demand we will be playing infinity dungeon again. I will add all the character descriptions again below so that you can pick which one you want to be. Make sure to have your character on a screen or printed out ready for the game.
We'll be playing 2:00pm on Wednesday. I have sent the invitation out to all of your parents.
If you haven't had a chance to check out the Mini-Meyer's page yet then please do for an exciting update.
Most of this week is going to be around different forms of persuasive writing, but we are going to start the week with a reading lesson.
Don't forget that you can follow up your science in the real world. Go out in the garden and see what you can find. Why not dissect a flower and see if you can find the parts?
