Welcome to Thursday
We have some lovely history today for our topic - all about one of Britain's most outrageous rulers Henry VIII. There are some Horrible history clips in the learning as well which I know will make some of you very happy.
I hope that you managed to get out to do some PE and outdoor learning this week. It is raining as I am writing this - so perhaps today is a good day for a welly walk.
Tomorrow everyone is going to be learning from home and we will have our Zoom session as usual at 11:00. I will send out an email to your parents later on today. I was thinking of doing a quiz this week as we haven't done one in ages.
There may be a question or two about Henry VIII!
It is a bit of a mix up today in English. Year 5 are doing some grammar work and Year 6 are planning and drafting ready for the writing that they are going to be doing tomorrow.
Maths: Yum, yum, yum lovely fractions and decimals again
Topic: History - Who was King Henry VIII?
I have included some extra activities for this topic again today. I have some sources of information about Henry VIII for you to look at and then break down to see what information you can get from them and how reliable they are. They are resources for secondary school children really, but you guys are a bit amazing and I was sure that you would be able to have a go.
