Westonzoyland Primary School ‘Achieving, Learning and Growing Together’

Monday

Good morning Ospreys!

Firstly, I had so much fun on Friday - thank you to all of you who came to our picnic, it was lovely to see you all!

It is Monday again and the start of the last week of term!! I am so proud of all of you for your hard work throughout the whole of home learning - you have done an outstanding job!

Have a fantastic day!

English

Today is our last reading day of this term so I have chosen an activity based on somebody who so many of you love - David Walliams! Have a read to find out more about his life.

Maths

Year 4s, on Thursday we looked at writing coordinates; today we are going to have a look at reading them and then plotting them. Look here to see how it's done: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zdbc87h/articles/zvvmtv4

Remember just like yesterday, read the x axis and then the y axis! (Along the corridor and THEN up the stairs).

Year 5s, today we are going to be looking at translations. This is a posh word for moving a shape. Have a look at the video below and make sure you do one point at a time just like the man shows you! You might not have to watch the whole video to get the hang of it.

Topic - Computing

Today in computing I have an interactive game for you all about being safe on the internet. Pick your character and each time you complete a level there is a situation for you to think about. https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/8_10/
