Hot meals are available and can be ordered through the School Office. The meals are served daily in the School Hall.
Children may also bring sandwiches or a similar packed lunch together with water in a suitable, non-glass container. Please provide a spoon for yoghurts etc. Lunch is eaten in the School Hall from 12.30 pm. Pre-School children may eat earlier.
Free hot meals or packed lunches are available for all EYFS and KS1 children and in KS2 to those who choose to have a hot lunch or for those where parents receive Income Support or Job Seekers Allowance (Income-based). Information and an application form can be collected from the School Office.
The children are also allowed to bring a small fruit snack to be consumed during morning break. In EYFS and Key Stage One, children are provided with a free piece of fruit through a Government funded scheme.
Children are known to benefit from a regular intake of water. We encourage children to bring a plastic bottle of water to school every day and to keep this in the classroom. There is a chilled water dispenser in school which children are able to use. Water bottles should be taken home daily for washing.
