Happy Friday everyone! Not only is it nearly the weekend, it's also half term- so a whole week off from home learning! Today we have some vocabulary for English and some number facts for Maths. Today's final task is to think about just how amazing you all are!
If you want to continue with tasks next week, I have put some booklets up for you to work through, but if not relax and enjoy your half term! :)
English: Vocabulary
Just as previously, I would like you to learn about some exciting new vocabulary. Your challenge for your three new words today is to:
1. Research the word and understand its meaning.
2. Use the word in a sentence.
3. Draw a picture to accompany the new word that has been learnt.

Maths: Maths skills
Today I would like you to practice your maths skills. Although it is good to practice individual skills in isolation, it is also good for children to practice them all together to ensure that they can movebetween the different operations. This sheet includes place value, addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, fractions and shape space and measure. If you have a problem in any particular area, ask a parent to write a few more questions of this type and keep practicing!
PHSE: I am amazing
There are lots of changes happening at school at the moment, and it's really making me think about you guys and what that means for you. Although I don't have all the answers right now, there's one thing I absolutely know for sure. You are all AMAZING and I am so proud of each and every one of you. I know how amazing you are, but do you? Today, I want you to think about you. The things that make you special, the things that you are really good at and the things that make you proud. I can think of lots of hings to write for every one of you, I hope you can too.
Have a great weekend!
